Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, Mecha Malaysia will help you with the return process.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return ((when tracking states that the package is marked as “Delivered”).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. On the day of requesting the return, please provide us with a Timestamp of the product to demonstrate its current condition.
It is the customer's sole responsibility to have the product reach Mecha Malaysia in the condition as described.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
You will have 7 days from the day you receive the product to raise this as an issue, if not any subsequent action will have the corresponding Warranty/Return/Refund Policies active.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Lubricants
- Oils
- Greases
Refunds
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
Any units purchased at a discount will only be refunded to the discounted price.
We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount due to any of the following but not limited to:
- Visible signs of use or assembly, including packaging beyond the minimum that must be opened to access the part in question.
- Missing and/or damaged packaging and/or accessories.
- Damage due to user error.
- Transaction fee at 5%
Important:
- A 4% Card process fee will be charged for all returns, or a 20% restocking fee if the item has been opened and/or used.
- The shipping cost & shipping insurance will not be reimbursed for returns. Customers are responsible for covering any costs that are related to returns. Unikeys will not cover the return shipping fees, customs fees, and taxes etc,.
- Clearance items, and Group Buy orders are FINAL SALES and cannot be returned.
Warranty Policy
Mecha Malaysia offers a 1-year warranty coverage for ALL Keyboards, and a 3 month warranty for Switches.
Your warranty period begins from the date of receiving the product.
We will consider the warranty active as long as contact is made with us within the warranty period with verifiable proof that the product is defective.
Any contact outside of the warranty period despite the issue appearing before the ending of the period will not be accepted as covered under warranty.
Perishables such as Opened Booster Packs, Lubricants, Hand-lubed switches and or other perishables will not be covered under a warranty period due to its nature, but will be covered by the following:
For ALL Products:
You will have 7 days from the day you receive the product to raise any defects. If not, any subsequent action will have the corresponding Warranty/Return/Refund Policies active.
Mecha Malaysia offers Lifetime Support, this means that Mecha Malaysia will entertain any repair request with regards to a product that was purchased from Mecha Malaysia, even if it falls outside of the Warranty Exclusions.
Mecha Malaysia will do its best to offer repairs in-house, and direct the customer to alternative bodies better equipped to rectify the issue.
Mecha Malaysia is not liable for your interaction with aforementioned alternative bodies and does not promise a full repair of the issue/satisfaction with the service provided from the aforementioned alternative bodies.
Mecha Malaysia will attempt to provide subsidised repair rates to boards previously purchased from Mecha Malaysia at its discretion.
In the case that Mecha Malaysia is unable to repair the product after sufficient effort, Mecha will not be held liable in the way that an Active Warranty would.
Defective Products
Our warranty policy covers any factory defects that might affect the proper functionality of your purchase. It does not cover any man-made damage due to human error, negligence, and general wear-and-tear etc. (please read our Warranty Exclusions section)
If your product is defective, please proceed with the following instructions:
- Send an email to contact@mecha.com.my with an appropriate subject title
- Provide your order number and state your issue clearly
- Attach photos and videos to show how your product is faulty
We reserve the right to ask for additional information before processing your request for a warranty claim.
Once we have confirmed that your item is defective due to manufacturing issues, we will arrange for a replacement, partial refund or a full refund (where applicable). In the event of a replacement, we may also require you to return the defective unit to Mecha Malaysia in exchange for a replacement.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty policy does not cover the following:
- Damage of product due to accidents, user negligence, dismantling, waterlog, mishandling, mismanagement, abuse, improper installation, vandalism or modifications.
- Products marked as prize items or from giveaways.
- Products not purchased from Mecha Malaysia Sdn Bhd
- Wear and tear damage, including cosmetic changes such as a change in colour.
- Damage deriving from users not following instructions in the provided product user guides, instructions or other additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product materials.
- Damage caused from commercial use of product.
- Damage arising from unsupervised use of product by children under 18 years of age.
- Damage due to poor weather conditions or any natural disaster.
- Theft or misplacement of product.
Our warranty has limited coverage under the following situations:
- Products have been modified or repaired by people not authorized by Mecha Malaysia
We will not be held liable for any complications that arise from any irreversible modifications and repairs (Attempted PCB Repairs, Permanent Physical Deformation, Over-lubrication of Switch)
Under limited coverage, you can refer to the "Lifetime Support" section for the policies and terms applicable.
Disclaimers:
Boards with batteries feature Lithium-Ion batteries. You are strongly advised to use USB-C data cables provided/sold to you by Mecha Malaysia.
Damage caused by overcurrent on higher rated USB-C cables/chargers/ports will not be covered by Mecha Malaysia.
Products purchased using the Grab PayLater installment methods are not eligible for a refund or return.
